Watch Dekho is operated by [Registered business name], registered at [Registered office address, City, State, PIN]. We decide why and how your personal data is used when you shop with us, which makes us the data fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We collect only what we need to run the store:

• Order details: your name, delivery address, phone number and email address.
• Payment confirmation: whether a payment succeeded. Your card, UPI or bank details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
• Messages: what you send us when you contact support.
• Technical data: device type, browser, pages visited and approximate location, collected through standard server logs and cookies.

• To process and deliver your orders, and to send order updates.
• To handle support requests.
• To keep the site secure and prevent fraud.
• To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting.
• To improve the site, using aggregated and non-identifying statistics.

We send marketing emails or messages only if you have agreed to receive them, and every message includes a way to opt out.

We process your personal data with your consent, or for the limited purposes the law allows without consent, such as fulfilling an order you placed or complying with a legal requirement. You can withdraw consent at any time. This will not affect processing that already took place, but it may mean we can no longer provide some services.

We use a small amount of browser storage so the site works properly. For example, your cart is saved in your browser's local storage so it is still there when you return. This data stays on your device.

If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will list them here and ask for your consent where the law requires. You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store, and only what they need:

• Courier and logistics partners, to deliver your order.
• Payment providers, to take payments and issue refunds.
• Email, hosting and support tools, to run the site and contact you.
• Accountants, auditors and legal advisers, where needed.
• Government or law enforcement bodies, when required by law.

These providers are bound to use your data only for the services they provide to us.

We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require, and other data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections, to protect your data. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting you occurs, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

You have the right to:

• ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is used
• ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete it
• ask us to erase data we no longer need to keep
• withdraw your consent
• nominate someone to exercise your rights on your behalf if you are unable to
• make a complaint about how we handle your data

Our site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we take steps to make sure your data stays protected, and we comply with any restrictions the Government of India places on such transfers.

We may update this policy as the store or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. For significant changes, we will let you know in a clear way.
